Koong Woh Tong first began its business of making and selling traditional herbal jelly ‘GuiLingGao’ and herbal tea, namely ‘Ya Sei Mei’ and ‘Wong Lo Kat’ in a small stall in inland China. Due to the popularity and healing effects of these healthy products, the business has since flourished and has been carried on by family member generation after generation. Throughout the years, the proprietors continued to conduct in-depth research on the authentic Chinese herbal formula used to make the products, as well as keep in tune with the dietary habits of their customers. As herbal jelly and herbal tea have proven efficacy, they are becoming popular and well recognized by the people from over 20 countries worldwide, including China, USA, Canada, Germany and France. Therefore, Koong Woh Tong established the first shop in Malaysia at Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur. Over the past 25 years, the brand has grown from strength to strength and has become synonymous with Chinese Herbal healthcare product. There are now 40 outlets within the country, mostly located within major shopping malls.
